Start with what matters to you.
Both apps help you track nutrition. TrendMotion’s focus is bringing your food intake, body measurements and activity onto one adjustable timeline, with no subscription or advertising.
MyFitnessPal offers Free, Premium and Premium+ plans. Its free plan includes food and exercise logging, measurement history and basic macro information. Paid plans add further tools. This comparison is published by TrendMotion and combines our product comparison with the official plan information linked below, reviewed September 13, 2026.

A cross means the feature is not part of the free offering, not that the app lacks it entirely. MyFitnessPal lists barcode scanning and ad-free use in its paid plans. MyFitnessPal has nutrition and progress charts; the overlay row refers specifically to combining body measurements, active calories and macros on one interactive timeline. Features can change and may vary by market.
Food comparison works differently: TrendMotion sorts saved foods by their calorie or macro values. MyFitnessPal’s Premium Food Lists rank foods logged during a selected day or week.
Focused tools. Simplified tracking.
Every TrendMotion feature is included free. No locked tools, subscription tiers or upgrade prompts. Your food log, training routine and progress stay at the centre of the experience.
Saved meals make repeat logging quicker. Compact summaries expand when you need the detail. Sort your saved foods by calories, protein, carbs or fat to find what fits your plan.
Choose it for the chart: overlay weight, body-fat percentage, lean mass, active calories and macros. Use separate axes, tap individual points, smooth a busy view or add average reference lines. Mark a diet change or program start to remember the context.
You also get saved meals, nutrition plans, a training split and supplement reminders. See the chart overlays in detail.
Where the fit may differ.
MyFitnessPal’s paid plans include tools such as Meal Scan; Premium+ adds meal-planning and grocery-list tools. If those are central to your routine, compare those plans as well.
TrendMotion is an iPhone app currently seeking beta testers. You can export saved app data or your food library. It does not offer automatic MyFitnessPal diary import, cloud account recovery or in-app restore. Barcode coverage comes from Open Food Facts; missing products can be entered manually. It is worth checking these differences before switching.
